Meet Rock Hard Cement’s Driver Justin Campbell

Suzuki Swift Cup Championship

His career highlights.

2016 I won the Super Modified Class 3 (SM3) during SOL Rally Barbados 2016, the first 1st in my motorsport career.

From my early days in motorsports I have always enjoyed track racing. Competing in the Rock Hard Cement, Drive-Off and ultimately winning, making me their sponsored driver for the 2017 Suzuki Swift Series Challenge, was the realization of another lifetime goal.

His hobbies.

Many of my weekends are spent outdoors gardening. My commitment to sharing motorsports and providing opportunities for youth gave me the inspiration earlier this year to launch the Rally Around A Youth, #RAY Project designed to seek out and identify emerging motorsport talent. We announced our first #RAY Project recipient earlier this year, “MudDog” and “Off-Road Junkie” member Diego “Spankey” Barton. The #RAY Project now takes up what little spare time I had left, as the team and I are constantly looking for opportunities to give back to the sport and add to its future.

His favourite quote.

Fear is an Illusion.

His goals for the Suzuki Swift Cup Championship.

My goal for the series is to put Rock Hard Cement on the podium each and every race meet and to be the overall 2017 champion.

Why drive for Rock Hard Cement.

I have never been content with complacency and I feel the same applies to the Rock Hard Cement Brand. While it is clear that Rock Hard Cement’s first commitment is to quality and consistency of their product, I have always found the brand to be modern, innovative and progressive. I hope people will see this partnership of this young company and a young driver as two entities who saw an opportunity to shake up the norms and cement themselves as innovators and leaders in their own right.

His greatest influence.

What many may not know about me is that one of the greatest influences in my life is my grandfather, Sonny. Our family while big is very close and much of that is because of the love and commitment he has always showed to his wife, Pearl (my grandmother), his children and his grandchildren. He taught me how to be humble, considerate and to not only know and believe in my own value but also to be respectful of the value of others. Sonny has always been my biggest fan.
