28-year-old Rock Hard Cement sponsored driver Justin Campbell is in it to win it. After placing 1st overall in Group SM3 during Rally Barbados 2016, Justin Campbell decided it was time to expand his driving experience and set his sights on the Suzuki Swift Challenge. Just over a year later he was one of several challengers looking to sit behind the wheel of the matte black, #9, “Build Stronger” Suzuki Swift as Rock Hard Cement held the second installment of its “Drive Off” competition.
Justin was new to the series and circuit but this only served to fuel his determination to come out on top – which he did, having been chosen to compete in the Suzuki Swift Challenge Series under the Rock Hard Cement brand. However, the journey hasn’t been easy. With identical vehicles and more experienced series drivers, Justin soon found that he would have to depend solely on his driving skills. While his first performance was solid, it was also a lesson in the rules of the track and a few penalties seemed to knock him further and further away from his goal of being Series Champion. It was back to the drawing board for Justin as he worked with his team to come up with a winning strategy.
His second outing in the series saw him advance his position to 4th overall and he now sits 3rd overall following three events. Justin attributes much of his success to the unwavering support he has received from Rock Hard Cement who he says has provided amazing commitment and encouragement every step of the way. “Every time I suit up for a race and look at the Rock-Hard Cement Suzuki Swift, I am reminded of Rock Hard Cement’s promise to being the “Best Quality by Far” and the company’s commitment inspires me to always strive for my best. I believe in speaking things into existence and that’s why at my next appearance at the Bushy Park track for the final installment of the Suzuki Swift Challenge Series, I am determined to achieve our ultimate goal and walk away with a Championship win and a 1st place overall”.
